The facility included Activity, Sleep and Family First Rooms with offices, store, kitchen, laundry, change room and toilets. Stainless steel security screens were fitted to all external windows and doors.

Works also included fencing, landscaping and external play areas.

The commencement date was delayed by 6 weeks due to barge unavailability and this impacted on completion date.

DT Hobbs achieved a 15% Indigenous employment rate and 2 apprentices were employed for the duration of the project. Indigenous employees were engaged via the Aminjarrinja Enterprises Aboriginal Corporation.
